My Super Hero

My Super Hero is my parent. My father’s name is Seung Ki Kong and my mother’s name is Yu Jin Han. There is one important fact - they love me.

They are my Superheroes because they take the effort to make me become a kind person. They are working hard because they need to buy a snack to give me to eat after school when I arrive at home and also for a dinner. She makes lots of delicious, healthy food not for only me for my big brother as well. Even though they are super heroes, they still need to eat. They also need to pay a lot of money for me to attend school so I can study at SWA.

Now I can feel sure why they are my Super Heroes. They are working hard, so I need to study hard also. Now I will try to study hard because of my 2 super heroes. Thank you my Super Heroes.

We move our Grade 5 class to Topeng building from Koi building. When we moved the building to Topeng I miss Koi building because Koi building was our first building that we studied.

MY REFLECTION ABOUT PYP EXHIBITION.

First Day:

Today was our first exhibition day our class we’ve prepared lots of things for the booth. My group members were Leo and Johnny. We fixed up our posters that our group focus, group member, central idea, lines of inquiry and captures from our presentation on the board for our booth.

I made the slide show about ‘Newmont Mine Minerals Price Calculation’ in my presentation I shown about prices of gold, silver and copper and also I shown about the mining truck from Newmont mine.

We had two sessions in the first session there were three groups. I was in session two. In session one I was inside and two groups were outside. After session one was finished, I was nervous because this was my first exhibition. At my previous school there had been no exhibitions.

After Axel’s group it was our group’s turn. Axel’s group podcast was finished and it was my group’s turn to show the presentation. There were lots of parents, grade 2 students and teachers such as, Mr. James (GR.2 Teacher), Ms. T, Mr. Hugo, Ms. Amel and Ms. Melda. They attended session two and they also attended my presentation.

I thought that I finished my first presentation successfully but there were lots of a question from grade 2 and some of the questions were tricky. I needed to be ready with lots of answers for the questions.

Anyway I finished my first presentation well without big mistakes. I was a thankful to Leo and Johnny because they were help to join my presentation and read the slide show. In this presentation I learned about friendship. I had to do my presentation one more time for tomorrow. Tomorrow I will be more speaking more loudly and clearly for the audience because tomorrow is our last exhibition day.

Second Day:

Today was our last exhibition day and our class prepared lots of things for the booth. My group members were Leo and Johnny. We fixed up the posters about our group focus, group members, central idea, lines of inquiry and captures from our presentation on the board of our booth.

The exhibition was same with yesterday but the audiences were not the same. This afternoon the exhibition had no students and parents but there was Mr. John, Ms. Midah, Ms. Elizabeth and Ms. Indah. I was showed the slide show about ‘Newmont Mine Minerals Price Calculation’ in my presentation I explained about the prices of gold, silver and copper and also I showed the mining truck from the Newmont mine.

Today we had only session one and we had lunch. After lunch we had a special session for the audience and after we finished our slide show we played ‘Are you smarter than Grade 5?’. The students from grade 5 were Johnny and Minsoo and from the Admin staff were Ms. Elizabeth and Ms. Indah. We used the quiz that Zaky made. The final score for grade 5 was 100 points and the score of the Admin stuff was 60 points.

I finished my last presentation well without any big mistakes. Today my parents came and attended our presentation but they didn’t attend my presentation because it was already finished. They attended the other groups’ presentations and they said ‘The students were very good’. Once again I was thankful to Leo and Johnny because they were helpful to join my presentation and read the slide show. In this presentation I learned about friend ship. Today was our last exhibition day.

In English we learned about Spore creatures. This is the program's name. We can make our spore when we click on the 'create the new creature' we will get one body. Wecan put many eyes,horns,legs,arms and feet etc. It can be made like a monster. If you want your spore to have 3heads you can make it. After you finish the body design if you want to change your spore skin color and you can make the skin to have lots of dots and stripes on the spore body. When we have finished making, we can test drive with spore. Spore can do a sumo action, dance, punch and other lots of things. I you are boring we can play with the babies also babies can do a actions. And I think if we play it online we can fight with other spore.

I think this program help our imaginations to grow up because when we make the spore we need to think how should we make the good spore like that. I think this is good program.
